I am a professional composer, sound designer, pianist, and instructor. I compose music in all shapes and sizes and have written for video games, short films, orchestra, and jazz ensembles among many other instrumental configurations. As a performer, I primarily play jazz piano but have performed as a classical pianist, drummer and bassist.
I live in Bozeman, MT. My performance experience includes many years of playing with groups and solo as a jazz pianist in California and in Pittsburgh, PA. I have also served as the accompanist for a church choir. Some notable gigs include a residency at Zuni Cafe in San Francisco from ’08-’14 playing standards and not-so-standards, Yoshi’s in San Francisco and the SF Museum of Modern Art.
I currently teach in the music department at Montana State University. I have 20 years of private teaching experience on piano and taught at the Community Music Center in San Francisco and Better World School of Music in Hayward, CA.
